Thank you for registering for the 2022 Mission Bay Parade of Lights, setting sail on Saturday, December 10th at 5:30pm. Grand prizes, thousands of spectators, and a new parade route will make this annual holiday tradition better than ever.
Mark your calendar for the Parade of Lights Captain’s Meeting on Wednesday, December 7th at 6:00pm at MBYC, when parade logistics will be reviewed and holiday cheer will begin! Gas cards gifts from Dana Landing Fuel Dock for the first 100 registered boat and boat numbers will be handed out during the meeting. Let Jason Proctor at Mission Bay Yacht Club know if you cannot make it.
Speaking of boat numbers, your boat number will emailed shortly. This number does not indicate your position in the parade. It is for voting purposes—that’s right—Winner and Runner Up prizes, including 2-night stays at the luxury resorts on Mission Bay, and holiday dinners at Mission Bay’s best restaurants, will be awarded based on holiday spirit decorations for Best Sailboat and Best Powerboat, as determined by a local celebrity judge, as well as a People’s Choice award based on spectator voting!
